We guarantee the authenticity of all works offered for sale by Stefanini Arte.
All works are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, provided in accordance with Legislative Decree 42/2004 (Cultural Heritage and Landscape Code).
When available, we also share documents from archives, foundations, artists, and artists' relatives.
Each limited edition is hand-signed and numbered by the artist.
All copies are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and provenance, issued by Stefanini Arte or its direct partners as publishers/authorized entities, in accordance with the Venice Declaration of 25 October 1991.
The Venice Declaration provides the theoretical framework underlying the concepts of originality in an art print. It was developed during the International Congress on Graphic Design, which took place October 25–26, 1991, at the Historical Archives of Contemporary Arts of the Venice Biennale. The declaration was signed by Enzo Di Martino, René Berger, Maurizio Calvesi, Jean Clair, Miguel Rodriquez Acosta, and Zoran Krzisnik.

DICHIARAZIONE DI VENEZIA
Venezia, 25 Ottobre 1991
La Commissione Internazionale invitata dalla Biennale di Venezia e composta da Renè Berger (Svizzera), Maurizio Calvesi (Italia), Jean Clair (Francia), Zoran Krzisnik (Slovenia), Miguel Rodriguez Acosta (Spagna), Enzo Di Martino (curatore del progetto), riunitasi a Venezia il 25 ottobre 1991, nella sede dell'Archivio Storico delle Arti Contemporanee a Ca' Corner della Regina, ha esaminato le oltre cento risposte al questionario (riguardanti i procedimenti fotomeccanici, l'intervento di tecnici e di uno stampatore, la biffatura, il deposito presso un Istituto Nazionale di Grafica) pervenute da direttori di musei, artisti, editori, stampatori, direttori di riviste d'arte e critici di tutto il mondo. Da tali risposte la Commissione ha tratto alcuni orientamenti, che sono stati oggetto di dibattito nel corso della riunione e in base ai quali è stato possibile formulare alcuni principi riguardanti il concepimento e la realizzazione di un 'opera grafica originale, e di conseguenza dare alcune raccomandazioni.
a) Un 'opera grafica originale può essere considerata originale quando sia espressamente concepita per essere realizzata con i soli procedimenti della grafica d'arte.
b) Qualsiasi procedimento tecnico (compresi i procedimenti fotomeccanici) e qualsiasi materiale di supporto sono leciti quando necessari ai fini espressivi dell'artista.
e) In questa prospettiva, è ammissibile ogni contributo tecnico nell'elaborazione della matrice o di stampatori nella tiratura definitiva dell'edizione, purché sussista la consapevole conoscenza e direzione dell'artista.
d) Gli editori e/o stampatori di opere grafiche sono invitati a dichiarare in un apposito documento tutte le caratteristiche tecnico-editoriali dell'opera grafica: in particolare a segnalare il nome dell'autore, degli eventuali collaboratori tecnici, dello stampatore, le tecniche usate, i materiali impiegati, il numero degli esemplari stampati (comprese le varie prove d'autore), la numerazione utilizzata, la data di esecuzione.
e) E' auspicabile che un esemplare dell'edizione di ciascuna opera grafica venga depositata presso una Istituzione Pubblica idonea a tale compito (es. Bibliothèque Nationale in Francia, Istituto Nazionale della Grafica in Italia, Calcografìa Nacional in Spagna, etc.), accompagnato dalla scheda descrittiva tecnico editoriale (di cui al punto d.), alfine di costituire un archivio della ricerca figurativa in ogni paese.
f) E' altresì auspicabile che le matrici delle incisioni calcografiche e xilografiche non vengano distrutte o biffate per ragioni di sola protezione del mercato dell'arte, ma piuttosto segnate (o perforate, o tagliate) in una parte della superficie, in maniera evidente, in modo da provare inequivocabilmente l'avvenuta stampa della tiratura.
g) Per prevenire ogni abuso nella diffusione delle opere grafiche originali, viene raccomandato di precisare chiaramente il numero di esemplari stampati, indicando in particolare quelli numerati per la diffusione sul mercato, quelli eventualmente destinati a collezioni pubbliche e le prove per l'autore che di regola non dovrebbero superare il 10% della tiratura complessiva. Si raccomanda di indicare inoltre l'esistenza di prove di stampa, di colore e di stato.
La Commissione ritiene che le indicazioni contenute in questo documento possano applicarsi solo alla grafica tradizionale, tuttavia la storia dell'esperienza grafica è, in effetti, una storia di evoluzione delle tecniche, e ovviamente gli artisti sono liberi di appropriarsi di ogni nuovo ritrovato, procedimento o supporto materiale, o immateriale, utili all'espressione del proprio immaginario. In questa prospettiva occorre tener presente che le possibilità offerte dalla scienza e dalle nuove tecnologie sono e saranno necessariamente parte del bagaglio espressivo dell'artista, e vanno dunque considerate con la dovuta attenzione le opere realizzate con i procedimenti video, ologrammi, le possibilità di sperimentazione offerte dai computers e da ogni altro mezzo che si renderà disponibile nel futuro alla creatività.
Per tali ragioni, la Commissione auspica che il dibattito sull'arte e sul ruolo dell'arte non incontri ulteriori pregiudizi di carattere formale o terminologico, affidandosi al riconoscimento del valore artistico dell'opera.

As soon as the package is handed over to the courier, you will receive the shipment tracking number. This is a unique identifier that allows you to monitor the status and route of the order at every stage of the delivery.
The total cost is determined by three components:
a) The Artwork: The price of each work of art is specified on its descriptive page.
b) Shipping and Packaging: Shipping and packaging costs are quoted at the time of purchase. Packaging is included in the shipping price, unless otherwise indicated.
The total price of these components (a+b) will be clearly communicated to you during the checkout phase, prior to the final confirmation of the order.
For Non-EU Shipments:
c) Customs Duties and Charges: International shipments may be subject to customs duties and import taxes in the destination country. Stefanini Arte does not manage or estimate these costs. These additional charges are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

No, the price displayed will be the final price to be paid for the work, or works, selected.
Unless otherwise indicated, the price of the work does not include shipping costs, frames, or texts/catalogues which are presented for informational purposes only.
Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties and/or import taxes.
The payment of these charges is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Customs authorities or the courier will require payment upon delivery, via a separate invoice.
We are not responsible for any duties or taxes applied in your country. For detailed information on regulations regarding the importation of artworks, we recommend contacting your local customs office or consulting the relevant national website.
All artworks are professionally packaged by the gallery's qualified experts. Shipments are managed through reliable global carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL, with security seals used on all packages.
Our Packaging Process
Unframed Artworks: We carefully wrap these in acid-free paper to protect them from dust, scratches, and fingerprints. They are then securely rolled and placed into a robust PVC tube or packaged between two MDF panels to ensure optimal protection. Unless otherwise specified, artworks are provided unframed and are packaged with the utmost care, without a frame or glass.
Framed Artworks: These are wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap and shipped inside double-walled cardboard boxes with tamper-evident seals. We do not ship glass.
Custom Crating: If necessary, we use a custom-built wooden crate to shield the artwork from potential damage during transit.
The cost of packaging and crating is always included in the shipping cost. Any exceptions are always noted in the artwork's description.
Shipping a work of art is a serious matter. We advise you to be wary of sellers who claim to ship artworks with full express courier insurance. According to the policies of major international couriers, artworks are always excluded from the standard insurance provided by the carrier. In fact, many carriers expressly prohibit the shipment of art.
You have the option of insuring your goods against loss and theft during transport through our insurance partner Secursus, a leading insurance company in the shipping sector offering a high-value parcel insurance service. After completing your purchase, you will receive an email with service details and the option to add insurance coverage to your shipment.
Unless otherwise stated, Stefanini Arte does not insure your purchase during transport, packaging, or any other phase of the shipping process. Any exceptions will always be noted in the artwork's description.

A framing service is not something that we currently offer due to the heightened risk of damage during shipping; transportation costs would also increase due to the additional weight of a frame. However, if you are interested in framing your purchased artwork, please feel free to get in touch with us and we will source a reputable framing service local to you.
You can collect your goods from us in person. Make an appointment by emailing info@stefaniniarte.it to let us know when you would like to stop by so we can have it packed and ready to go.

Yes! At Stefanini Arte we believe that art should be accessible.
For this reason, we offer the possibility of dividing the cost of the purchase, based on the value, into monthly installments without interest.
To withdraw the work from the market, a 20% deposit is required. The remaining amount can be paid in equal monthly installments.
During this time, we will keep the work in our archive in complete safety.
Once payment is completed, we will arrange shipping or in-person pickup.

Stefanini Arte reserves the right to exclude the above option for some items.
It is good practice to always check the package carefully upon delivery and sign with reserved acceptance.
If for any reason the package appears tampered, broke or wet, it is necessary to always report in detail, on the delivery note or on the courier's terminal, any anomalies found in the packaging and, if necessary, also in the contents. contents.
If it was not possible to check the integrity of the goods upon collection, unpack the package - with the utmost caution - and document the operations with photos or videos. In case of damage, contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
A signed delivery receipt without any notes regarding damaged packaging represents your acceptance of the order as completed in perfect condition.
Do not throw away the damaged box, as you may be asked for additional photos when making a complaint.
