Mimmo Rotella
Mimmo Rotella (1918–2006), born in Catanzaro, was an innovative Italian artist known for the invention of décollage, a technique that uses torn advertising posters as an art form. After an artistic education in Naples and a period in the United States, Rotella developed an avant-garde visual language, exploring themes related to cinema and pop culture. A member of the Nouveaux Réalistes movement, he exhibited in museums and international exhibitions.

Salvo
Salvo (Salvatore Mangione, 1947–2015) was a Sicilian artist active in the Italian contemporary art scene. After a conceptual beginning with photographs, marble engravings and text-based works, in the 1970s he returned to traditional painting, exploring landscapes, still lifes and mythological subjects. A key figure in the Turin scene, he exhibited in international exhibitions and Biennials. His legacy lives on through the Archivio Salvo and numerous retrospectives.
